ATSF 2-10-2 #1624 - Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe         
Built by Baldwin in September of 1905 as a compound 2-10-2 locomotive, ATSF #1624 was rebuilt at the Topeka Shops in October of 1921 and continued on the roster until being sold for scrap to Joseph Behr & Company on April 29, 1952. Rebuilt specs - oil burner, 57" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 28x32" cylinders, engine wt of 317,400 lb, tractive effort of 74,800 lb. Arthur B. Johnson photo
