PRR 920, K-4S, c. 1955
Here is an image of a photo by an unidentified photographer that was taken near Rahway, New Jersey, c. 1955. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #920, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during July of 1917 and retired in 1959 after 42 years of faithful service. In this context, it's pulling a passenger train bound for South Amboy. The road number of the Baldwin-built diesel-electric switcher pictured at the far left is not recorded.
