Here is a photo by an unidentified photographer that was taken in West Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on 17 April 1949. Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #8280, an L-1S (2-8-2) "Mikado" built by the Lima Locomotive Works as number "7628" during November of 1917, renumbered "8280" in August of 1919, converted to an oil-burner by 1948, and retired in April of 1958 after 41 years of faithful service.
