Tom Beckett General You got it with the "reach" car for the car floats. I rode the #7 train into NY every day at that time, and saw those units and spacer cars on a daily basis. The P motor in the pit is an ex NYC P 2, which I think was a former Cleveland electric motor. NYC moved them east after dieselization, and the wires came down through Cleveland, which had a smoke ordinance. 6/23/2016 3:11:19 AM
