Description:
Here is page 43 of a 78-page booklet published by Harry P. Albrecht entitled "Those Amazing Class 'D' Locomotives." It was issued originally in June of 1981. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6046, a D-13C (4-4-0) "American" built in Juniata during 1893, then sold to the West Jersey & Seashore Railroad and renumbered "46" in 1903, renumbered PRR "06046) in 1906, and retired in October of 1916 after 23 years of faithful service.
