CEI 4-6-0 #626 - Chicago & Eastern Illinois
Title:  CEI 4-6-0 #626 - Chicago & Eastern Illinois
Description:  Good example of a 1904 Alco-Schenectady built ten-wheeler, originally #275 (class T-33), renumbered to 626 (class G-7) in 1911. It had 63" drivers and could develop 200 psi boiler pressure for its 21"x28" cylinders. In 1930, it was superheated and the cylinders enlarged by an inch in the C&EI shops, dismantled in December 1936. The date is approximate. Sid Davies photo
