Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #3639, an L-1S (2-8-2) "Mikado" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during April of 1916 and retired in May of 1956 after 40 years of faithful service. It is pulling a mixed-cargo freight train through the Hagerstown Passenger Station. |
