| LOVX Class RB 7297 in Bicentennial paint at Cicero, Illinois on an unknown day in April 1981, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. I attempted to find this car in the October 1971 issue of the Official Railway Equipment Register, but the closest I came were 40 cars in the 7100-7199 number series. That's a bit odd, since the car has evidence of once having a roofwalk, which would make the built date sometime before October 1, 1966. Just above the black TT on the flat car it is stenciled; BLT AX 3 195x, the last digit obscured by blocking the device on the flat. |
